  • AMP ground worker training took place today with multiple departments in attendance
  • Street repair & paving being done by contractors
  • Kleinfelder was in town for assessment of streets for future projects
  • Larva tablets are in place for mosquito control; spraying will take place Wednesday evenings weather permitting
  • Seeking proposals to bring to Council regarding Strategic Plan
  • Water Rehab Tower Project #1 Bid Opening was 5/14 and should be awarded at next Council meeting; will require appropriations increase to award project
  • American Red Cross Fire Department Blood Drive taking place May 27
  • COVID clinic sponsored by American Health Partners on June 3 from 2-4pm in Town Hall Gym
  • Request for leased office space (second floor room) made by Never Let Go Ministries; same agreement as Edgerton Area Foundation
  • Motion to approve lease agreement between Village of Edgerton and Never Let Go Ministries for 1 room on second floor of TH3:

Robert Day, Mayor Report:

  • Attended AMP training today; healthy respect for electric linemen and what they do
  • Miller Park received a lot of compliments on facility at ball tournament that took place over the weekend
  • Looking for project suggestions for volunteer groups
  • Park Board meeting report from May 12; equipment has been or is being ordered; starting to look at long term plans for Parks, would like to poll community opinions of what they want to see in parks

LAUBACH DR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #1- Bid opening date was May 7, 2021. PDG has evaluated bids and submitted recommendation that Vernon Nagel Incorporated be awarded the bid in the amount of $298,325. The project consists of the installation of approximately 1,400 feet of 18-inch storm sewer conduit, 150 feet of 24-inch storm sewer conduit, five catch basins, five manholes and 280 feet of 4-inch force main. The work also includes the construction of a storm water pump station as well as other related work. Completion date is 9/30/21.
