At the 10/5/21 council meeting, Council will be discussing the appointments to the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council. 7 total appointments and terms of the members of the Council shall be for three years. The previous established CRA Council is

Council Discussion:
Mayor Day gave a summary report on the Park Board meeting on 10/8/2021. Awaiting the installation of the playground equipment. Looking to have a community work day on October 9, 2021 in the afternoon at Miller Park. Interested groups should contact the Village office and speak with the Mayor.
Village Administrator gave a summary report on the Tree Commission meeting on 10/8/2021.
Next Park Board meeting and Tree Commission meeting will be held on 10/13/2021.
Mayor Day reported the results of the Federal 2020 Census. Edgerton’s population is 1,881, down from the previous 1,997.

Council Discussion:
Council member Muehlfeld inquired about the status of the park surveys. Mayor Day reported that the surveys are being collected through the last day of month.
Council member Karnes inquired about the status of the park board legislation. Mayor Day recommended that if Council is ready to have the legislation placed on the agenda and to consider the changes with the 2022 year.
Discussion held about the Habitat for Humanity project.
