LTMA agreement: In order to comply with section 923.14 of Edgerton Codified ordinances, when properties are developed the property owner has to provide a storm water management system with a storm water management plan in addition to a detention basin which is utilized as an overflow of water before it goes in to our storm water system. AMPT agreement: Seeking approval to execute agency agreement with AMPT. After several months of discussion and negotiation, we believe this agreement has potential to bring numerous benefits to our community. Any costs incurred by AMPT in connection with services provided covered in the agreement would be recovered through transmission rate, not by the Village. Essentially, we would be authorizing AMPT to work with ATZI and First Energy to find solution to reliability. We have only one connection into our substation. If a situation were to arise and the line that is feeding us goes down, we would have an available solution to correct that. AMPT would represent us and go to table to try to get an agreement approved.

Council Discussion:

Chuck Wallace reported the cemetery will be looking for part-time help to assist with weed eating and trimming. They will be pouring cement, columbarium’s will be expanded, St Mary’s church would also like to expand their section so need to look into that. There will be stone placed, trees removed and planted.

Tree Commission– Arbor Day is coming up the end of April. We will plant a tree per usual, but Dawn suggested bringing in a food truck and passing out a tree of the Tree Commission’s choice to those that attend the food truck.

Wallace referenced a Fire department save that happened thanks to the Narcan training that took place a couple weeks ago. Chuck thanked the Village for putting things in place for them to have that training and be able to save a life.
