Countywide 9-1-1 System: This is a statewide 9-1-1 system plan created through HB445, which aims to upgrade 9-1-1 infrastructure for county and state to Next Generation 9-1-1 systems. The county is required to put together a plan and a local county review committee. We do not believe there will be any associated costs passed down to us. The claim is that costs will be collected through cell phone bills.  It is a state requirement that all communities and townships pass this plan which identifies services that we have and what the entities will need to move to. It is expected to be a several year process.
